Kasaragod District Panchayat Invites Nominations for Biodiversity Awards

              Kasaragod District Panchayat, through its Biodiversity Management Committee, invites nominations for Biodiversity Awards from individuals and institutions carrying out biodiversity and environmental conservation activities in various fields across the district. Activities undertaken during the 2025–26 year will be considered for the awards.

The awards will be presented in eight categories for individuals and institutions:

  1. Best Conservation Farmer – Plant
  2. Conservation Farmer – Animal
  3. Sacred Grove Conservation
  4. Biodiversity Management Committee
  5. Green College
  6. Green School
  7. Kutti Gaveshakan
  8. District Species Conservation

Applications for the awards can be submitted to the District Panchayat both online and offline.
